Our journey will begin with a visit to Borjomi. This is a small resort town, comfortably hidden in one of the picturesque mountain gorges of Georgia. And at the same time it is a world famous health resort and spa resort. Russian emperors and artists often rested here. The resort is famous for healing mountain air, beautiful nature and the world famous Borjomi mineral water.

After a walk in the Borjomi Park we will go to the Samtskhe-Javakheti region to the cave city Vardzia (formerly invisible). Vardzia is one of the main attractions of Georgia: high rock towers above the Kura river, dozens of natural and handmade caves. The settlement of Vardzia was expanded and landscaped as a city-fortress with many caves. The Assumption Church, a dozen more churches, a library, bathhouses were built in the cave city, a sewage system was laid and the secret passages were extended. Currently, some caves go into the depths of the cliff to many meters, and in the height of the city Vardzia has eight floors.
